My thanks go out to the organisers for getting me down to paint at this awesome event.. www.fromthegroundup.org
This was a lonely grey box over by the private hangars at Auckland Airport, what better way to sort it out than an NZ forest mural!
A bright mural depicting the coat-of-arms of internationally renown sportswear label Canterbury, in the reception area of their swanky new offices.
Chalk art for Crabbies, Old Mout Cider, and Rekorderlig with help from fellow Grey Lynn based artist Gasp and an unknown other, all for the Taste of Auckland fine food festival.
Painted live at Mangere Bridge, at the Auckland Splash water safety fun day.
Painted live at the product launch for the new everything-proof Laminam cladding by Laminex.
They finally got me to come down for this wonderful annual event, thanks guys! Here’s my main piece, depicting the mighty Ruaumoko:
And here’s a quick one-hour piece done on the first day…
…and a canvas painting of Ngauruhoe for the group exhibition on during the festival…
… and a courtyard mural for Taupo’s acclaimed “Plateau” restaurant and bar…
…and finally, these are some cut-out “Christmas trees” I painted which are displayed with ones by other artists in the town centre in December,
They were so impressed that they put me in the newspaper… twice!
Freshly painted mural at the lively Topkid’s centre in Eden Terrace, Auckland.
This innovative class were unhappy about their drab outdoor area, decided they needed a mural… then they got designing, petitioned the principal and got sponsorship through a parent’s work to get the funds for me to come and help put their idea on the wall! Great couple of days, thanks guys
