DJ Penfold
Based in Auckland, New Zealand, DJ Penfold has over 13 years of crowd rocking experience at most major nightclubs and venues in Auckland City as well as Christchurch, Queenstown, Wanganui, Napier, Mt Maunganui and Hamilton. He has supported New Zealand and Australia’s best including DJ SirVere, DJCXL, Peter Gunnz, DJ Manchoo, Deceptikonz, PNC, David Dallas, Young Sid and internationals like DJ Revolution, Rodney P & Skitz.
With a keen ear for the latest hits and exclusives from US based artists and remixers, DJ Penfold’s sets are tailored to suit timeslot, venue and style of party, and are sure to leave the crowd wanting more. He is a regular at club nights such as Stomp, Honey, R&B Superclub (voted NZ’s Best Club Night @ UMA Australia). Not only is Penfold an experienced DJ, he is also a qualified Audio Engineer, having recently completed his Diploma of Audio Engineering at SAE Institute, Auckland.
With a studio set up including Pro-Tools, Acid and vocal recording capabilities, Penfold continues to work on various Production projects, while maintaining a focus on Club DJing. Penfold has recently started at radio station BFM, on the legendary Trueschool Hip-hop Show. You can also catch him alongside co-host Jonny 4-Higher on DisruptivTV (Alt TV - Sky Digital 65), Monday nights from 11pm, for the hottest Hip Hop vid’s, graff flicks and updates.
