Zone 1

This up coming maestro is our resident producer, and is quickly earning a strong reputation for his cutting edge beats.  Zone1 specialises in hip-hop production and recording but is equally apt in creating R’n’B, Drum’N’Bass, Reggae, and Rock.

Currently, he is producing for the Disruptiv Music crew and selling beats to other local groups, and recording various vocalists and groups in his Grey Lynn studio.

Zone1 has music in his genes, his parents being central members of renowned funk group Gahu.  He himself is fluent in playing a broad range of instruments and styles, and also works as a private music tutor.

He has a internationally recognised Diploma in sound engineering from SAE.
